Hard resetting your Realme 5 Pro will erase all data on your device. Make sure to back up your important files and information before proceeding.
Method 1: Hard Reset via Settings
This method is applicable if you can access your device's settings.
- Go to Settings on your Realme 5 Pro.
- Scroll down and select Additional Settings.
- Tap on Backup & Reset.
- Select Factory Data Reset.
- Tap on Reset Phone.
- Enter your device's PIN or password to confirm.
- Wait for the reset process to complete.
Method 2: Hard Reset via Recovery Mode
This method is applicable if you cannot access your device's settings.
- Press and hold the Power button and the Volume down button simultaneously for a few seconds.
- Release the buttons when you see the Realme logo on the screen.
- Use the Volume down button to navigate to the Wipe data/factory reset option.
- Press the Power button to select the Wipe data/factory reset option.
- Wait for the reset process to complete.
Method 3: Hard Reset via Fastboot Mode
This method is applicable if you cannot access your device's settings and recovery mode.
- Press and hold the Power button and the Volume down button simultaneously for a few seconds.
- Release the buttons when you see the Fastboot logo on the screen.
- Connect your Realme 5 Pro to your computer using a USB cable.
- Open a command prompt or terminal window on your computer.
- Type the following command: fastboot erase userdata
- Wait for the reset process to complete.
Note : Some time stuck your phone if there is any hardware or software issue in your phone, Data will not back if you don't have backup before perform hard reset.
